As lead designer on this project, I helped Brand Jordan launch Chris Pauls’ 5th signature shoe in Los Angeles. Working with the Creative Director of CRACK Dan Pelosi and our production team, we brought to life the story of Chris Paul, weaving his childhood, high school and college experiences into the story of his sneaker. We used edge-lit acrylic shards and precise lighting to guide the media through the space while representing Paul's fast, lateral movements on the court. Each period of Paul's life was represented graphically and physically; with key elements telling the story of how he became the player he is today and how it is incorporated into his 5th shoe. Each guest left with a profound sense of who Chris Paul is, and how he landed in the LA spotlight, bringing the ball up the court for the Clippers.
